Old Dominion lead guitarist Brad Tursi released his solo album, Parallel Love, on July 19. The title of the album came from a concept he read about in a self-help book that talks about the ways two people can grow together through the years, supporting each other but not relying on each other for survival. Brad says that his bandmates have known for years that he was writing and recording his own songs, but they were surprised when he told them he was releasing an album. "I think maybe it caught them off guard a little bit," he says. "But I reassured them I had no plans of leaving the band or anything."
