You're Invited: Seniors Appreciation Day – Help Us Celebrate Our Elders!

Dear Local Business,

We’re reaching out with a heartfelt invitation to join Andy, the owner of The Barder Shop, in celebrating the incredible seniors in our community at a special Seniors Appreciation Day—with support from United Way, who is proudly assisting Andy in planning this meaningful event.

📅 Date: Monday, November 10th
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: Senior Building, 19 Hamilton Street, Lindsay

Andy will be onsite with his smoker, cooking up delicious food to say thank you to the seniors who have helped build and shape our community. We’re inviting local businesses like yours to participate by donating food, drinks, or treats to share with our seniors during the event.

Whether it’s coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, or snacks—every contribution helps make the day even more special.
Any extra food will be packaged up and given to the seniors to take home, so they’ll have something to enjoy in the days to come.

If you’re able to contribute, please let Andy or Mike know in advance if you'll be attending and what you plan to bring. This will help with planning and ensure a great variety for everyone.
